Plasma Nitration

  • Proven surface finish Siegmund‘s plasma nitriding is a proven surface treatment for our welding
tables. The thermochemical process leads to surfaces that are more wear-free, corrosion-resistant and durable. Welding spatter adheres significantly less to a table with plasma nitriding than to
welding tables without plasma nitriding. As a result, the surface evenness is better preserved even after years. Due to the significant increase in service life and the increased resilience of the welding Tables by around 20-30%, plasma nitriding is always worthwhile.
  • Low-wear and durable surfaces
  • Scratch resistant
  • Corrosion resistant
  • Significantly less welding spatter adhesion

BAR-Coating

Unique to Siegmund is the subsequent BAR coating of the welding tables and many tool parts, which takes place after plasma nitriding. The BAR coating (Black-Anti-Rust Coating) additionally planes the
surface and increases protection against rust.

  • Reinforced rust protection
  • Additional grading of the surfaces

Plasma Nitration

Siegmund’s plasma-nitrided surface represents a proven advancement in welding-table technology. This thermochemical treatment hardens and refines the table surface, ensuring superior wear resistance, scratch protection, and corrosion control. Thanks to plasma nitration, welding spatter adheres far less, preserving surface flatness for years of use. The result is a 20–30 percent longer service life and greater resilience under heavy workloads, making it a smart investment for professionals seeking longevity and precision.

  • Low-wear and durable surface finish
  • Highly scratch resistant
  • Corrosion-resistant for lasting performance
  • Minimal spatter adhesion, preserving evenness

Advanced BAR Anti-Rust Coating

Exclusive to Siegmund Welding Tables, the BAR (Black Anti-Rust) Coating is applied after plasma nitriding to further strengthen and protect the surface. This unique treatment enhances resistance to oxidation while creating a refined, smooth surface finish that improves precision alignment. With additional grading and reinforced rust protection, BAR-coated tables maintain their integrity and visual appeal even in demanding environments.

  • Enhanced rust protection for long-term durability
  • Superior surface grading for smooth precision
  • Extended lifespan in challenging conditions
