SYSTEM

Light to Heavy Duty Fabrications
Siegmund’s largest system is ideal for light to heavy workpieces due to its high resilience and rigidity. The solid clamping devices also keep large components in shape and prevent distortion when welding the individual assemblies.

Plasma Nitration
- Proven surface finish Siegmund‘s plasma nitriding is a proven surface treatment for our welding tables. The thermochemical process leads to surfaces that are more wear-free, corrosion-resistant and durable. Welding spatter adheres significantly less to a table with plasma nitriding than to welding tables without plasma nitriding. As a result, the surface evenness is better preserved even after years. Due to the significant increase in service life and the increased resilience of the welding Tables by around 20-30%, plasma nitriding is always worthwhile.
- Low-wear and durable surfaces
- Scratch resistant
- Corrosion resistant
- Significantly less welding spatter adhesion
BAR-Coating
Unique to Siegmund is the subsequent BAR coating of the welding tables and many tool parts, which takes place after plasma nitriding. The BAR coating (Black-Anti-Rust Coating) additionally planes the surface and increases protection against rust.
- Reinforced rust protection
- Additional grading of the surfaces

Advanced Surface Hardening Technology
Siegmund’s plasma-nitrided surface treatment sets a new benchmark in welding table performance. This thermochemical process enhances hardness, wear resistance, and corrosion protection, ensuring long-lasting durability. Welding spatter adheres far less, preserving surface evenness and accuracy over years of use. The result is a 20–30% increase in service life, making System 28 a cost-effective and reliable investment for professional workshops.
- Highly durable and wear-resistant surface
- Scratch and corrosion resistant
- Minimal spatter adhesion for easier cleaning
- Improved flatness and long-term performance
Enhanced Rust Protection with BAR Coating
Exclusive to Siegmund Welding Tables, the BAR (Black Anti-Rust) Coating is applied after plasma nitration for maximum surface protection. This advanced coating enhances oxidation resistance and provides a smoother, more refined surface for superior precision. It not only strengthens rust protection but also adds additional surface grading, ensuring your table maintains its integrity and appearance even in demanding environments.
- Reinforced rust and oxidation resistance
- Enhanced surface refinement for improved precision
- Increased longevity and visual appeal
